The Basic Treaty of Slovakia with Holy See as a means of making a FUNDAMENTALIST RELIGIOUS regime in Slovakia.

The treaty does not make provisions for mutual relation of Slovakia with an extraterritorial subject - THE HOLY SEE, but it regulates exclusively the relation of Slovak State with a domestic legal personality of "Catholic Church of Slovakia "- EXEMPTING the later from being governed in the same way as other legal personalities and organisations-which are subject to the current Slovak laws in force.

As has been disclosed by the head of the office of Justice Ministry Mr. Lipšic in his article published in DOMINO in November 1999. - the relation of State with Catholic church should  be regulated by international treaty because of the fact that INTERNATIONAL TREATIES have a higher legal power than domestic laws in accordance with VIENNA CONVENTION ON THE LAW OF TREATIES art. 27.

International treaties declare usually a definite time of validity, after which prolongation is open to signature of contracting parties. This international Treaty does not contain such terms ( It is meant "for ever")

Some articles of the treaty are stressing the right of Catholic Church to enforce its rules TO ALL SLOVAK CITIZENS REGARDLESS OF THEIR DIFFERENT MIND .            ( examples:)

Art 2 (2)

The Holy See safeguards that the Catholic church makes use of every suitable means for moral shaping of citizens of Slovak republic for the benefit of mutual wellbeing in accordance with PRINCIPLES of CATHOLIC teaching in line with the legal system of Slovak republic.

(Comments: Like the principal feature of any FUNDAMENTALIST REGIME Slovakia legalised thus ONE SINGLE MORAL valid for ALL citizens, regardless of their being followers or not being followers of Catholicism. )

Article 7

Slovak republic acknowledges the right of everyone to make use of the right of stipulation based on conscience according to creed and moral teaching principles of CATHOLIC CHURCH The extent and conditions of this right will be specified by a particular international treaty between the contracting parties.

(Comments this ruling makes the moral teaching of Catholic church the only valid teaching allowing stipulation of conscience for EVERYONE based only on CATHOLIC teachings - regardless of his dissent with the Catholic moral teachings !)

Article 9.

Slovak republic will acknowledge as days of working rest Sundays and the following days :

(Comments: This is a FORMAL issue , nevertheless it CONFIRMS the RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALIST ATTITUDE of Slovak state, and at the same time contradicts the international law according to which nobody can be forced to any formal expression of religious creed which is not his own belief .

About 40 % of Slovak citizens are not followers of Catholic creed . The basic treaty is going to force them to FORMAL EXPRESSION of a religious creed which is alien for them since they did not accept it as their own.

(besides, there is a host of other privileges in teaching at schools and through media for Catholic church - which are not granted to others- as a proof of its FUNDAMENTALIST TRENDS!!)

The Treaty of Holy See and Slovakia from the view point of the global policy of Catholic church.

The Treaty of Slovakia with Vatican does not follow any other aim except for creating for the Roman Catholic Church of Slovakia which is one of legal personalities like many others a special and EXCEPTIONAL STATUS on account of all the other analogous legal subjects in our common land , as well as to exempt it from any control by the Slovak State authority and make it completely independent on it - subject exclusively to the "Holy See". As the pretext to achieve it concluding an INTERNATIONAL TREATY has been used .

The Basic treaty between Vatican and the Slovak republic belongs to one of many attempts of the Catholic Church to renew at least partially its medieval power, when its interference into the State power was humbly accepted by emperors and other ruling subjects , who in pious submission were kneeling at the pope's feet, kissing his feet- obeying like puppets the injunction of Catholic church, which proclaimed itself the head of all ruling powers .

Slovakia became namely a most suitable country for the offensive of the Catholic church to be launched against its ever more declining outreach of might over the nations, due to the ongoing secularisation and the massive drop in numbers of church members - especially in the prosperous countries of Europe.

We have a Slovak saying : "when the misery gets worse the God's help becomes the closest" The idea behind that folk's truth can be explained in several ways. Secular-minded people deduce of it the fact ( which has been proven by sociologic research too) that at a low level or at a sudden drop of standard of living, people often turn to religion as to the last comforting resource because they do not see any hopes for improvement in this world - they seek to be awarded on the "other world" for their current misery.

That is why for religious missions and for recruiting new adherents for church poverty, famine, illiteracy, primitive conditions of life and affliction with diseases are the most welcome helpers for acquiring high numbers of followers, which is used as argument for strengthening the churches power.

Slovakia with its economy approaches ever more the living standard if Albania, in Slovakia nostalgic reminiscences on the Clerofascist Slovakia are still alive and artificially being fostered ( many a time with assistance of some circles of Catholic church dignitaries) - since the Catholic church enjoyed at that time unlimited powers of interfering into governing of the state. Vatican is ready to beatify some Slovak person (Such an "honour " does not cost the Vatican anything at all - while Slovakia will dearly pay for it with many billions as can be already guessed from the Basic Treaty.

Many politicians turned their coats and ostentatiously display a "deep religiosity", in order of upgrade their personal career in the new post-November conditions. All that makes from Slovakia an ideal country for vassalage to Vatican . namely "by mandate of Vatican" governed territory, which should be officially sealed by concluding the Treaty with Vatican.

Imperialistic expansion can be materialised not only by military actions followed by occupying foreign territories with armies, but also by "diplomacy"- especially if such a diplomacy is based on principles of Jesuit diplomacy created by Saint Ignatius Loyola.
