THE EXECUTIVE POWER OF SLOVAKIA USE DIRTY TRICKS MARRING DEMANDS FOR PARITY.
This scandalous procedure aiming at rejecting the fair demands of PS is an example of dirty tricks the current executive power of SR attempts to apply in order to avoid fulfilment of legitimate demands for the PARITY of non-denominational minority of citizens with those claiming religious affiliation.
Prometheus Society submitted several petitions to the prime minister and other officials asking for financial subvention to nondenominational minority in Slovakia as long as the churches are subsidised with huge regular yearly funding from the state budget.
The top state authorities which have been addressed sent the petition to the DEPARTMENT FOR CHURCHES at the ministry of culture to DECIDE about this petition although it is none of the business of the aforesaid department.
The position taken by the Department for churches of Culture ministry to demands of Prometheus Society was naturally quite hostile backed by INVENTED ARGUMENTS lacking any basis in the domestic and/or international law.
These arguments question the numbers of PS members in having the mandate of representing non-denominational citizens - ( but they do not question the numbers of Bishops Conference of SR and the democratic legality of their mandate )
In addition they invented an argument of comparing the "social influence" of PS and making it a LIMITATION to grant us the same treatment as to churches, which contradicts the art 2 of Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief (Res. 36/55 UN GA 25.11.1981) and the Constitutional law of SR ( both of these documents don't admit any limitations for equal rights for all citizens regardless of their life stance whether religious or non-religious!)
The most amazing thing in the proceeding of State authorities was that they committed the DEPARTMENT for CHURCHES with making decisions about our submission This is an OUTRAGE to existing legal rules delimiting exactly what the scope of activity of the church department is and what does NOT belong to it !
(One could compare it as though the SLOVAK STATE committed SKINHEADS to solve the problems of ROMA /GYPSIES !!)
